Montagu is situated on Route 62 in the Klein Karoo; about 2 hours drive from Cape Town. This peaceful town is steeped in history and famous for it's awe-inspiring rock formation, orchards, vineyards, local herbs and healing hot mineral springs.

Visitors will discover our wildflower nature garden, bird sanctuaries, nature reserves, museums, art galleries, historic homes, lovely hiking trails, 4 x 4 and mountain bike trails and ideal rock climbing opportunities. For the hungry there are numerous coffee shops and restaurants to choose from.

In season you will find fresh fruit on the farm – apricots, nectarines, plums and peaches. During the week you can purchase directly from the packhouse during office hours. On the farm you will find an old English Fort. A moderate climb up to the fort and you will have a beautiful view over the farm, mountains and village.
